| | Happy New Year to you!!! I've been in NC for the past two weeks, just about, and I've had the most wonderful time here yet! :) Michael and I spent a lot of time with his family, which was very nice, and together here at the apartment, as well as with friends. All in all, it was a great break from work, and a wonderful way to end the year. I'm sad to be leaving tomorrow, but I know we have a lot of exciting things planned for the upcoming year. 2009 is going to be the best year yet! :)
I also managed to snag a few really sweet deals for flights in the upcoming months. Michael got a round trip to NY for a total of $94 round trip. Somehow, American was flying $36 each way before taxes between LGA and RDU. We snagged him one flight and I grabbed another for the long weekend I have in February (which happens to also coincide with valentine's day!!). :) That's such a big difference from what it usually costs, and looking today, I couldn't find anything near that price. Lucky us!
I post most of my pictures now a days on facebook, which is why I rarely update my blog. I recently posted a bunch of old pictures from class photos and other random shots I thought I'd scan in. I moved a whole lot of photo albums down to NC, and Michael was sweet enough to set up the scanner for me. :) It was fun reminiscing a bit.
Hope you had a great end of 2008, and that 2009 brings everything you hoped and dreamed. :) I know I can't wait to see what the future holds! Happy New Year!
